We are parents that live in the Woodland Hills area. We have many years of experience dealing with the school system and how to best help your child get their needs met, including the special ed department and the gifted department. Some of us are no longer at Woodlake School and have gone on to other schools, such as Hale or El Camino, but others have transferred their kids to other schools in the Woodland Hills area and we felt it would be helpful to open a web site to help all parents and so we formed our parent group and named it Wildcat-Parents!

What we are NOT: We are not paid employees of any school. We are not paid nor do we work for any of the following schools: Woodlake Avenue Elementary School nor affiliated with Woodlake School or the Woodlake PTA nor any other school in the area. Please visit "about us" to read more of who we are.

We will share factual information about what is happening at our local schools. The factual information will be listed under our FAQ's section. Please email us with questions. We can tell you things that the school district doesn't and won't. Be specific in your questions, please.

If there are any events that you are aware of and you don't find listed, please submit them to us at the below email address. We will post anything here that interests the community. Please share what you'd like to see. We are ALL about COMMUNITY!! You will find pictures from the happenings in our neighborhood: Woodlake Avenue School(Woodlake School or Woodlake Avenue School), Calabash Elementary School, Lockhurst Elementary School, Pomelo Elementary School, Woodland Hills Elementary School, Welby Way Elementary School, Hale Middle School and El Camino High School. Photos taken at a school will be listed under the school section. You must belong to the E-newsletter to have access to some of the picture sections. This is to protect the kids. Once you have joined, you will be sent a survey. Please fill it out and send it back to us. If you'd like a username to access the photos, email us.

Included here are a Woodlake Cub Scout/Boy Scout Troop and Soccer teams comprised of Woodlake Avenue Elementary School, Pomelo Elementary School, Hale Middle School and El Camino boys and girls. If our photographers are at an event, you will find pictures or slide shows of them having fun and being part of what is going on. If you have pictures to share, please send them to this email address.
